Luis Salgado Manzano is a Software Engineer at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI). He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Prairie View A&M University, as well as a B.S. in Computer Engineering and an associate degree in Computer Science from the European University of Madrid. He has a background in full-stack development, real-time data processing, API integration, and large-scale data analysis.
At TTI, Mr. Salgado develops and maintains software solutions that support transportation research and operations, combining front-end and back-end technologies to process, visualize, and analyze transportation data efficiently. His work includes application development with Python, JavaScript, and SQL, as well as database optimization and cloud-based integrations. Before joining TTI, he worked in Spain in Identity and Access Management roles, where he designed and implemented secure enterprise solutions for major organizations. He has also contributed to research on infrastructure monitoring and co-authored publications related to IoT- and AI-based monitoring systems.
