Carrie has 20 years of experience in specialized transportation and mobility, advancing person-centered solutions for older adults and people with disabilities. She began her career operating a local transportation and mobility management program, then worked statewide to promote accessible transportation and influence policy. At the national level, Carrie led the National Aging & Disability Transportation Center at Easterseals. Throughout her career, she has led initiatives that expand mobility options, strengthen ADA compliance, and advance best practices in non-emergency medical transportation, volunteer driver programs, and active transportation.
