Dr. Ming Zhao is currently a Senior Research Scientist and the Manager of the Travel Forecasting Program (HTF) at TTI. He is currently responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the HTF program and providing support to TxDOT’s Transportation Planning and Programming Division and the MPOs across the state for their Travel Demand Model development efforts. He is also responsible of maintaining and enhancing TxDOT’s TexPACK platform. Prior to joining TTI, Dr. Zhao has extensive working experience with an MPO and private sector consulting firms in the field of travel demand modeling and transportation planning. He has developed a number of travel demand models and served as lead modelers on numerous travel forecasting projects.
