Stephen Sebesta is a Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) research scientist. He has over 25 years of research experience, and his professional interests include rapid pavement renewal, stabilization and reclamation, nondestructive testing, and forensic evaluation. He enjoys working closely with stakeholders to identify solutions to real-world problems and places high priority on providing results of practical usefulness to project sponsors which have included TxDOT, Federal, and Industry organizations. Mr. Sebesta served as TTI's materials lab manager for 8 years, and he has authorship roles in more than 100 research deliverables. His current work focuses on optimal rehabilitation methods for pavements including forensic analysis, strategy selection, recycling methods, stabilization or treatment mixture design, pavement structural design, and best construction practices. He has served as an invited speaker to present on full depth reclamation for the Transportation Research Board and the Asphalt Recycling and Reclamation Association. He has presented at more than 25 engineering conferences including 11 presentations at the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting.
