Prerana Gurudath is an Assistant Transportation Researcher in the Road User Safety Program at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. She holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India. Her graduate capstone examined maxillofacial injury trends from road traffic accidents in Texas before and after the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on changes in injury frequency, severity, and demographic disparities across geographic regions. Currently, she supports transportation safety research through literature reviews, data analysis, proposal development, and technical report writing. Her work contributes to projects on agricultural worker transportation risk, all-terrain vehicle (ATV) injury analysis, motorcycle safety, and Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) initiatives.
