Operator Certifications
The TxDOT inertial profiler operator course is normally held at the TEEX Institute for Law Enforcement & Protective Services Excellence in Building 7751 of the Texas A&M RELLIS Campus. For directions to this building, search for “TEEX Central Texas Police Academy” in Google Maps. Note that the test location may change from time to time depending on the availability of training facilities. You will be informed of the venue for the operator certification when you apply to take it on one of the scheduled dates. If there are any changes in the classroom location, TTI will inform you of those changes.
Equipment Certifications
Equipment certifications are conducted at the TxDOT-TTI Pavement Profiler Evaluation Facility, also located within the Texas A&M RELLIS Campus. You will be given directions to get to this facility when you schedule a profiler certification.
