Jayson Fritz-Stibbe is an Assistant Research Scientist in the Road User Safety Program at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute, where he applies human factors principles and data analysis to improve roadway safety. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a transportation emphasis from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Mr. Fritz-Stibbe brings over six years of experience in transportation safety and engineering, including prior work as a Traffic Safety Investigator at the Oregon Department of Transportation and as a traffic engineering consultant. His expertise spans crash data analysis, project evaluation, intersection design, and programming tools such as GIS, Python, and SAS.
At TTI, he serves as a key researcher on the Texas Strategic Highway Safety Plan update, where his duties include analyzing emerging data sources to inform strategies for improving driving behavior and improving safety outcomes statewide.
