Short Biography
Kai-Wei (Victor) Liu is a devotee of scalable measures for novelties and existent bottlenecks in civil engineering materials. His coveted success in material construction and characterization embraces the infrastructural-composite relevancy. His latest research portfolio includes but is not limited to cement or asphalt concrete’s eligible hardiness of deterioration, engineered aggregates, observational adequacy for infrastructure materials, and conversions of high-to-low CO2-emission in cement industry.
Dr. Liu serves as Editorial Member and Reviewer for a variety of journals and conferences ranging from Materials Science and Engineering to the Transportation Research Board (TRB). Particularly, he serves as Handling Editor for the Transportation Research Record (TRR) and Voting Member for American Concrete Institute Committee 221 (Aggregates). He is also the lab manager of TTI Materials & Pavements Division in the Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR) at Texas A&M University.
