Short Biography
Ashesh Pant is a Lead Data Analyst at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI), where he applies his data analytics skills to support transportation safety projects. He collaborates with TTI's principal investigators, data scientists, and GIS experts to produce reports that enhance the understanding of crash data, while adhering to data guidelines.
Before his current role at TTI, Ashesh worked as a Manager of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Economic Analysis Unit at the Millennium Challenge Account Nepal Development Board, a project funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation. There, he managed the unit's budget and contracts, developed and refined project indicators, and conducted data quality reviews. Prior to first joining TTI in 2013, Ashesh also worked as a Data Specialist at Reynolds & Reynolds, where he processed vehicle inventory data using SQL, Python, and Excel, collaborating with third-party data providers. With his diverse background in data analytics, Ashesh contributes valuable insights to advance transportation safety research at TTI.
