Short Biography
As audio visual specialist, Clyde Hance produces award-winning videos and other creative multimedia projects that turn abstract concepts into concrete messages. Mr. Hance has over 46 years of video production experience and has played an integral role in a wide variety of award-winning productions. In addition to his journalism background, he has training in 3D animation, specialized video editing, and multimedia production techniques. During his 32 years with TTI, he has logged nearly 100,000 miles across the state to get the right footage to help tell the state's transportation story. Mr. Hance's video productions have won many awards, including Best of Show from the Lubbock Advertising Federation, Award of Excellence from the Council for the Advancement in Support of Education, and a Telly Award Bronze for "Traveling the Back Roads of Texas" produced for the Texas Department of Transportation. In 2007, Mr. Hance received the agency-wide Administrative Technical Support Award from Texas A&M Transportation Institute. He has training and experience in multiple software programs including Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite. He shoots video in a variety of settings and has expertise in both studio and field lighting. Mr. Hance has extensive background using 4K video cameras.
