Our Transportation Professionals

Bill Eisele

planning group

Bill oversees TTI’s leadership in planning research, overseeing the agency’s largest research group. As associate agency director, he leads five divisions — Mobility, Data Science and Visualization, Policy Analysis, Freight and Trade, and Metropolitan and Statewide Planning — and helps deliver practical analyses and transportation solutions to sponsors across the country.

  • Recently concluded a three-year term as chairman of the Transportation Research Board’s Freight Systems Group and previously chaired the Blue Ribbon award-winning Urban Freight Transportation Committee.
  • Serves as an instructional professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning at Texas A&M University and is a recipient of the Texas A&M System Regents Fellow Service Award.
  • Licensed professional engineer in Texas and Michigan, certified Project Management Professional, and holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.
