The Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) is committed to making its websites and other electronic information accessible to all users and to making electronic information compatible with the use of assistive technology. TTI is also committed to remaining up to date on accessibility requirements, techniques, and tools to maintain and increase usability of its electronic information.
As a member agency of The Texas A&M University System, TTI complies with the A&M System accessibility policy. Electronic information developed or procured by TTI follows the guidance of state law as outlined in Texas Administrative Code Section 206 and Section 213, which conform to similar requirements in Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act. TTI employees contributing to development of electronic information have experience in meeting accessibility requirements as defined on both the state and federal levels.
The criteria for accessibility of TTI electronic information are based primarily on guidelines developed by the Texas Department of Information Resources and the World Wide Web Consortium. TTI welcomes comments on how to improve its site’s accessibility for users with disabilities.
