The rivalry is back.
With the return of the historic Texas A&M University and University of Texas football showdown at Kyle Field on Nov. 30, College Station will be host to a packed weekend of events leading up to the game.
Are you coming to the Texas A&M University campus during the Lone Star Showdown? Texas A&M Transportation Institute Traffic Expert Debbie Albert and the Texas A&M Transportation Services offer tips on parking, shuttle services and additional transportation options.
- Fans should plan ahead for parking and have a backup option. Parking can be pre-purchased for Yell Practice and the Lone Star Showdown Concert on Friday, and the football game on Saturday. Prepaid parking may be purchased from ParkMobile only. No other third-party purchases (such as Seat Geek) are valid.
- If you are using your Texas A&M parking permit, please make sure to have your barcode ready to scan at the lot entry.
- Texas A&M University Transit shuttles are not operational on Friday due to a University holiday. Shuttles will run their gameday routes for football on Saturday. Visit https://transport.tamu.edu/Parking/events/specialevents.aspx for more information on parking and shuttles.
- There is a right lane restriction on eastbound SH 21 at Cooks Point. Fans coming from the west, including the San Antonio and Austin area, should expect delays and plan extra time when traveling to Aggieland.
A large number of fans are expected to be in Aggieland for the renewed rivalry game, which will bring traffic congestion. We encourage fans to pack their patience, be courteous and follow all traffic laws and officer directions.
