Making sure the numerous existing or planned traffic control devices — like signs, pavement markings and pedestrian crossing treatments — are performing as planned or are sufficiently appraised before implementation, researchers with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute conducted a high-priority, wide-ranging and multi-year evaluation project.
