Short Biography

Margaret Fowler is a dynamic, creative, and curious transportation professional who has worked at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute since the Spring of 2019. Margaret has obtained much experience working in the System Reliability Division at TTI and has been involved in many projects relating to the deployment and assessment of connected and automated vehicles. Her project experience has allowed her to oversee testing operations, lead several teams for data collection purposes, and host focus group sessions for user feedback. Other areas of research interest and expertise of hers include human factors. Specifically, her research has focused on operator behavior and trust in automation and the impact of these relationships on vehicle safety and design.
