Short Biography

Mr. Marcus Brewer is the Assistant Program Manager of TTI's Roadway Design Program. He has more than 25 years of experience in research on topics related to geometric design, roadway and roadside safety, and

traffic operations. He has degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas (Bachelor of Science) and Texas A&M University (Master of Science). Marcus is a registered professional engineer in Texas (#92997) and a certified Project Management Professional. Marcus focuses on projects that improve roadway design and its effects on safety and traffic operations, including roundabout and intersection design, pedestrian mobility and safety, and efficient operations on highways and streets. His approach to research seeks to find practical

applications that will benefit both the transportation profession and

those who use the transportation system.  He seeks to find real-world

applications for research results, putting tools and resources into the

hands of transportation practitioners for everyday use.
