Dr. Green is an Assistant Research Scientist in TTI's Transportation Planning Program. Her research interests include travel surveys, travel behavior and transportation policy. Dr. Green has experience with projects related to the National Household Travel Survey and the Texas Department of Transportation Travel Survey Program. She was involved in a recently completed project (0-6760) performed in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration and the Texas Department of Transportation, titled Improved Trip Generation Data for Texas Using Work Place and Special Generator Survey Data. For her master's thesis, Dr. Green, researched the equity implications of changing from the gas tax system to a vehicle miles traveled fee system in Texas. In her recently completed doctoral dissertation, Dr. Green assessed the influence of psychological characteristics on managed lane use.
Dr. Green is an Engineer in Training (EIT). She is an active member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and is a friend of the Transportation Research Board Committees on Transportation Economics and Managed Lanes.
