Short Biography

Joanna Hunt specializes in editing, proofreading, desktop publishing, and Microsoft Word support for TTI researchers and staff. She uses Information Mapping techniques to clarify complex processes and procedures. She formats research deliverables, such as technical reports, manuals, workshops, guidebooks, presentations, proposals, and brochures. She is a certified Microsoft Office Specialist and provides Word training. Ms. Hunt also writes alt text for 508 compliance and contributes technical articles to the Institute's quarterly magazine, Texas Transportation Researcher.

Ms. Hunt's background includes technical writing and editing for software instructions and operational manuals, as well as development of marketing and general-audience materials. She is formally trained in development of written processes and procedures, and edits hundreds of documents a year so that procedural content in research deliverables is accurate and effectively instructional.
