Asset Management Screening Tool and Users' Manual

A major goal of asset management is to develop systems that allow decision makers to have ready access to quantitative and qualitative data on an organization's resources and its facilities? current and future performance. This user's manual provides information on the use of the Asset Management (AssetMgt) Screening Tool. The AssetMgt Screening Tool has been designed to assist decision makers explore an array of goals, objectives, performance measures, specific performance measures, and organizational conditions to identify maintenance contracts to implement within a three-tier asset management structure. With this system, decision makers can interactively navigate through and select goals, objectives, performance measures, and organizational conditions. Based on these input changes, the AssetMgt Screening Tool dynamically provides suggestions on what contractual strategies are appropriate for managing and/or maintaining individual assets and classes of assets.
