Expansion of Commercial Truck Counts at the Border

This report presents the results of the project that tested and replaced existing detection equipment at the Ysleta/Zaragoza Port of Entry (POE) and to expand detection capabilities at the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) where count equipment was non-existent. The project originated from a need to expand vehicle count data collection at the border with the LeddarTech IS16, which began in fiscal year 2015. Also, the report gave the recommendations of the TTI researchers that conducted the testing.
