Abstract
Researchers conducted literature reviews, laboratory tests, and pavement performance simulations of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP). They concluded that using RAP in Portland cement concrete (PCC) is largely feasible for the pavement application. After considering the factors related to strength, materials, construction, and performance, the researchers developed guidelines regarding:
1. Material selections and mix design.
2. Meeting TxDOT Class P strength requirement criteria for full-depth pavement application.
3. Meeting TxDOT different stenth requirement criteria for low-strength applications.
4. Selection of RAP-PCC Pavement Type.
