Abstract
A user-friendly, Windows based computer program, Test Risk Assessment Program (TRAP) was developed to compute and output occupant risk parameters used in evaluating crash test results of highway safety features. Risk parameters are those contained in the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Report 350, "Recommended Procedures for the Safety Performance Evaluation of Highway Features, dated 1993, and in the Committee for European Normalization (CEN) standard EN 1317-1, "Road Restraint Systems - Part 1: Terminology and General Criteria for Test Methods," dated April 1998. This report includes a User's Manual and a Programmer's Guide to facilitate use, maintenance, and updating of the program.
