November 9, 2015

Accelerate Texas logoAs a nationally recognized leader in transportation technology research, the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) has issued an Request for Information (RFI) to conduct pilot demonstrations and proofs of concept for connected and automated transportation technology and services that are readily deployable.

The purpose of the RFI, which was issued through TTI’s Accelerate Texas Center, is to facilitate the commercialization and deployment of connected and automated (CV/AV) technologies. Through this effort, the Center is forming partnerships with both public and private organizations and placing priority emphasis on projects that will improve safety and mobility.

The deadline for questions related to the RFI is Nov. 13, 2015, and the deadline to receive responses is 2 p.m. CST, Dec., 11, 2015.

To learn more about TTI’s capabilities in CV/AV research, view the TTI’s Capabilities in Connected Transportation fact sheet.
