Work Place Culture

What It’s Like Working For Us – Our people are committed and passionate about upholding our vision of saving lives, time, and resources. Here’s what our people have to say about our culture:

"You hear organizations talk about it “being like a family” – however, TTI truly is. I have seen this Agency rally behind employees like few others. We have the lowest turnover rate in the Texas A&M University System for a reason and that reason is atmosphere. Are there areas that could be improved, yes, but no organization is perfect. However, in my opinion, we are as good as it gets." “Though TTI is a state agency, you really feel like you get the benefits of being in the private sector. Working for TTI is the best of both worlds!” “I enjoy working with the diverse group of people that TTI offers.” “I genuinely feel like everything I do makes a difference in our society.” “Working at TTI, I get to challenge myself daily with finding innovative solutions to some of our nation’s biggest problems. It’s very rewarding.” “I enjoy the entrepreneurial culture; as a TTI researcher I am supported by management and co-researchers to creatively pursue and conduct research. Also, people are friendly and office spaces are pleasant.” “When I hear about other people complain about how much they hate their private consulting job, I always thank my lucky stars I work for an organization like TTI. Here, you have the flexibility to work on research projects that interest you with people that are actually pleasant to work with. Have an area of research that interests you? Then go after it! That’s the kind of entrepreneurial culture we have here.”
